William L. “Larry” Pardue
Mr. Pardue received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Linguistics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1993, his Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics from Rice University in Houston in 1998, and received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2019. Mr. Pardue is a native-fluent Spanish speaker.
While attending Loyola Law School, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal, and has published multiple articles, comments, and notes regarding International and Maritime law. He served as a student lawyer in Loyola’s Employment Law Litigation Clinic, where he represented Spanish-speaking clients in federal district court in Louisiana on FMLA, Wage/Hour Disputes, and other related litigation matters. He was a Loyola Moot Court and JESSUP team member.
Mr. Pardue joined Thomas Quinn LLP in 2021. He is admitted in the state of Texas, and is based in the Houston office where his practice focuses on representing employers and carriers in claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act. Prior to becoming a second-career lawyer, Mr. Pardue’s corporate legal and business experience in the energy industry in Houston also allows him to assist clients in navigating the complexities of business entities and business formations, entity comparison and selection, corporate governance and maintenance, corporate structure, policy-making, and ethics and compliance in the workplace.
