Nicole E. McQuiston, Attorney at Law
Ms. McQuiston received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Baylor University in 2013 and received her Juris Doctorate from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia in 2016. While in law school, she was invited to participate in the Student Trial Advocacy Competition (S.T.A.C.) Mock Trial Competition, and was first chair in the National Trial Competition (N.T.C.) Mock Trial Competition.
Ms. McQuiston participated in Georgia’s Third Year Practice Program and became an apprentice with the Bibb County District Attorney’s Office in Macon, Georgia. While with the Bibb County D.A.’s Office, she was assigned to the Violent Felonies unit and gained practical experience by appearing at arraignments, bond hearings, and motion hearings on behalf of the State of Georgia.
Ms. McQuiston was admitted to practice in the state of Georgia in 2016, and spent one year practicing law in Atlanta before moving back to her home state and taking the Texas Bar Exam. She is based in the Houston office where her practice focuses on representing employers and carriers in claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act.
