Jackson Wells
Mr. Wells brings a blend of legal expertise and international business experience to Thomas Quinn, LLP where he focuses his practice on defense litigation under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and the Defense Base Act (DBA). He earned his B.S. in Business and Finance from New York University Shanghai in 2018, his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 2022, and his MBA from EGADE Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2023. Mr. Wells first sought to protect the rights and safety of violent crime and domestic violence victims with the Texas Legal Services Center’s Crime Victims Litigation Department. He then advanced his practice skills by litigating Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) and real estate cases with a specialized firm in Houston.
Mr. Wells is multilingual and enjoys practicing his Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Ukrainian, and French. Having lived in five countries, he brings a cross-cultural understanding that assists him in navigating the multinational aspects of DBA claims. Outside of work, Mr. Wells enjoys endurance endeavors such as ultramarathons, mountaineering, and cave diving. Mr. Wells is licensed in Texas and is based in the Houston office.
