Ivy Becker
Ms. Becker received her Bachelor of Arts in 2019 from Carthage College, where she double majored in Political Science and Pre-Law Criminal Justice. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2023. During law school, Ms. Becker gained valuable experience through multiple internships, including positions with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Milwaukee Legal Aid Society. She was also an active member of the school’s Pro Bono Society, contributing to efforts to provide free legal services to the community.
Before joining Thomas Quinn, Ms. Becker’s legal background encompassed a diverse range of practice areas, including environmental and sustainability law, family law, and consumer collections. Her experience navigating high-stakes legal matters and assisting individuals through complex and emotionally charged disputes has equipped her with the skills necessary for the dynamic field of DBA work.
Ms. Becker is based in the Chicago office where her practice focuses on representing employers and carriers in claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extension, the Defense Base Act.
