Cameron Hatzel
Mr. Hatzel’s legal practice consists of representing corporations and individuals in a variety of claims including maritime claims (personal injury, cargo, collision, pollution, toxic tort, marine insurance, mariner license defense, and general maritime law) as well as under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extensions such as the Defense Base Act and War Hazard Compensation Act.
Mr. Hatzel received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston and his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is licensed to practice in Texas as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas. He has presented on a variety of topics, including the Shipowner’s Limitation of Liability Act of 1851 and was a former board member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.
