Brittany M. Ustruck
Ms. Ustruck received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2011 and received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2018. While in law school, she was invited to join THE JOHN MARSHALL LAW REVIEW and later served as a staff editor for the publication. Ms. Ustruck worked in The John Marshall Law School Domestic Violence clinic where she represented victims of domestic violence in family law proceedings.
Ms. Ustruck worked full-time while in law school for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. While with the Bankruptcy Court, she gained practical experience by gaining courtroom exposure, briefing motions and other legal issues, and working directly with judges and other chambers staff.
Ms. Ustruck was admitted to practice in the state of Illinois in 2018. She is based in the Chicago office where her practice focuses on representing employers and carriers in claims brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act.
