Ms. Vega received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 and her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2018.
While in law school, Ms. Vega was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and was selected as a PracticePro Diversity Scholar. In addition, Ms. Vega was chosen as a fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project where she taught constitutional law and oral advocacy to local high school students in preparation for a national moot court competition.
Ms. Vega was admitted to practice in the State of Texas in 2018. She is based in the Houston office and her legal practice consists of representing employers and insurance carriers in defense of liability claims arising under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extension the Defense Base Act.
