Ambar Shah
Ms. Shah attended the California State University of Fresno, where she obtained a Joint Degree in Political Science and Criminology, and a Legal Studies Certification in Moot Court in 2010, graduating with Honors. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate from the California Western School of Law in 2016.
Ms. Shah’s previous practice has consisted of advising and representing global corporations in the day-to-day management of general legal affairs, with a primary focus on contract negotiations, managing claims for property damage, first party insurance, warranty liability, corporate securities and employment matters. At Thomas Quinn, Ms. Shah has concentrated her practice toward representing companies and insurance carriers in defense of claims under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extensions such as the Defense Base Act and the War Hazards Compensation Act.
Ms. Shah is admitted to practice law in all Illinois state courts and is a member of the Illinois Bar Association. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and son.
