Andrea Hunter
Ms. Hunter received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Baylor University and remains a proud Baylor Bear. After graduation, she taught high school English in the Dallas ISD for several years, before completing her Masters Degree in Education. Ms. Hunter subsequently fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer by earning her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA. Throughout law school, she excelled on the Moot Court Board and held leadership roles in the Black Law Students Association. Ms. Hunter gained valuable experience through internships with a Virginia judiciary member and the Georgia Office of the Attorney General in Government Services.
After graduation, she returned to Texas and focused on practicing criminal law in Tarrant County. She served as a municipal judge for five years in Johnson County, and as an assistant district attorney in Tarrant County.
Since transitioning to civil litigation, Ms. Hunter enjoys representing the best interests of her clients. Her current practice consists of representing employers and insurance carriers in defense of liability claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extension, the Defense Base Act.
